Stormwater Master Planning

Stormwater master planning can mean different things, depending on the planning goals.

Stormwater master planning can mean different things, depending on the planning goals. Sometimes it is a tool simply to identify detention needs in a watershed. Other times it is more comprehensive and can address stormwater quality, green infrastructure identification, and regional stormwater treatment opportunities.

Most master planning efforts require engineering and special analyses, using state of the practice modeling software and GIS analysis tools, in concert with known data sets such as water quality monitoring data and impervious surfaces within the watershed.

CEC brings experienced engineers, biologists and GIS professionals to each master planning project, based upon the project need.
