Watershed Restoration Planning

CEC staff bring together a variety of disciplines capable of addressing multiple goals in watershed planning projects. CEC's experts have experience in helping organizations understand and pursue grants as well as performing watershed assessments, developing restoration plans, designing restoration practices, and the technical and research aspects of these projects.

CEC's Water Resources professionals incorporate our water resources experience with our respected Ecological Practice to provide the following services:

Our staff can plan, design and implement watershed restoration plans, from desktop analysis to field assessments to design and on the ground construction. Our biologists and other technical field staff conduct stream assessments to collect data on the existing condition of the watershed that can be included with and incorporated into a comprehensive water quality and quantity model to aid in the identification of restoration opportunities within a watershed and on streams.

This information can then be used to prioritize restoration activities and restoration design-build projects led by our experienced professionals. CEC often works directly with contractors on in-stream restoration projects to ensure that the design and associated permits are followed.
