CBO Annual Code Conference
Seven Springs, Pennsylvania
The Annual CBO Code Conference boasts over two full days of continuing education credits for both ICC and AIA courses. The golf outing and welcome reception will take place on September 19th and the president's dinner will be held on the evening of the 20th with a guest speaker from ICC. Pittsburgh Project Manager Micah Sayles will present "Special Inspections based on Chapter 17 of the International Building Code" on Wednesday, September 20.

Mid-Atlantic Stream Restoration Conference
Baltimore, Maryland
The Mid-Atlantic Stream Restoration Conference has continued to grow in size and scope since the first conference in 2004. This is a can’t miss event for resource professionals, researchers and practitioners. The conference will explore the Science, Engineering and Technology behind Stream Restoration in the Mid-Atlantic and the Northeast. A number of CEC's experts will present during the concurrent sessions on Thursday, September 21. Bridgeport Principal Nate Ober will present "Effects of Watershed-Level Geomorphic and Hydrologic Alterations on Bankfull-Channel Geometry: Observations from the Appalachian Plateau of West Virginia" at 10:30am and Bridgeport Assistant Project Manager Timothy Denicola will present " Stream Restoration on Coal Mining Impacted Properties, West Virginia" at 10:50am as part of Concurrent Session A. Bridgeport Project Scientist Marla Denicola will present "Comparison and Use of Aerial and Terrestrial LiDAR for Stream Restoration" at 10:50am as part of Session D. Pittsburgh Principal Tim Nuttle will present "Green First to Streams First: An Alternative Version for Pittsburgh's City-Wide Green Infrastructure Assessment" at 1:30pm and Columbus Project Manager Joshua White will present "Capturing the Entire Watershed Through Stormwater Retrofits" at 3:30pm as part of Session H. CEC is also Boulder Sponsor at this event and will have and will be exhibiting throughout the conference.

Leadership West Virginia Energy Session

The Ledership West Virginia program was developed in 1991 to develop and motivate leaders who use their talents and abilities to inspire others and foster a new spirit of energy, enthusiasm, and vitality throughout the state. WV Economic Development Council Annual Meeting

The WVEDC holds its Annual Meeting in the fall of each year at a site selected by the Board of Directors. As part of this meeting, the Council offers informative workshops on timely development subjects and provides seminars designed for strengthening the professional development skills of its members. Special meetings are also called on occasion, as appropriate, on the advice of the WVEDC President with the concurrence of the Board of Directors. 2017 Ohio GIS Conference

The Ohio GIS Conference is the largest gathering of GIS professionals in the region. Shale Insight 2017

Shale Insight is organized by the Marcellus Shale Coalition (MSC) – an organization committed to the responsible development of natural gas from the Marcellus and Utica Shale geological formations, and the enhancement of the nation’s economy that can be realized by this clean-burning energy source. The member companies of the coalition work with partners across the region to address issues with regulators, local, county, state and federal government officials and communities about all aspects of producing clean-burning, job-creating natural gas from the Marcellus Shale. Pittsburgh Vice President Dan Maltese will be moderating the breakout session "From Buzz to Banks: Better Insight for Better Endangered Species Planning" on Thursday, September 28 from 10:15-11:30am.
