SWANApalooza features the Annual Landfill Gas and Biogas Symposium, the Annual Landfill Symposium, and the Road to Zero Waste Conference, along with the Spring Training & Exam Center. Formerly a separate event, the U.S. EPA’s Landfill Methane Outreach Program (LMOP) is now a partner in the Landfill Gas and Biogas Symposium. Pittsburgh Principal Tim Nytra is scheduled to present "The Management and Development of Landfill Permitted Airspace: The Cost of Construction and Airspace" on Tuesday, March 6 at 4:30pm in Plaza Ballroom F as part of the Airspace Operations session. Charlotte Principal Ivan Cooper is scheduled to moderate the Emerging Contaminants Found in Landfill Leachate session on Tuesday, March 6 at 1:45pm in Plaza Ballroom F. Cooper will also present "Pretreat or Let the POTW Do It? – Options to Improve UV Interferences from Leachate at POTWs" on Wednesday, March 7 at 3:00pm in Plaza Ballroom F as part of the Landfill Liquids Management session. Pittsburgh Senior Vice President Steve Menoff will be moderating the Landfill Liquids Management session. Boston Project Manager Paul Shamoian is also scheduled to present during the Landfill Liquids Management session. His presentation is titled "When are Leachate Evaporators Applicable?" The final CEC presenter for the Landfill Liquids Management session will be Export Vice President Eric Chiado, with "Industrial Waste Disposal Issues".
