During the Technology Showcase, Vice President Rick Celender will present the benefits of utilizing an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) equipped with an optical gas imaging (OGI) camera for leak detection and repair inspections (LDAR) for compliance with U.S. EPA and State methane reporting requirements.

Vice President Dustin Kuhlman is scheduled to serve as the moderator for the CEC sponsored session, Landslide Impacts In and Out of the Field, taking place from 3:00-4:15 pm on Wednesday, October 24.

Nashville Principal Steve Casey and Project Manager Justin Bryan will present an update on the "Protecting Mill Creek Headwaters" project that is being done in partnership with the Cumberland River Compact. The project is designed to help address development and extreme weather, improve the water quality of Mill Creek, and educate on more resilient approaches to stormwater management. The CRC project provides educational outdoor classroom activities with integration into the science curriculum at the recently constructed Nolensville High School. Students will also assist with ongoing monitoring and maintenance. This project incorporates regenerative stormwater conveyance (RSC) that will increase stormwater infiltration and improve the water quality of Mill Creek, home to the endangered Nashville Crayfish.
