As an Environmental/Agricultural Inspector for Civil & Environmental Consultants (CEC), you will perform on-site environmental and agricultural inspections associated with natural gas or liquids pipeline and well pad construction projects. You'll work directly with the existing Inspection Team, and report on a day-to-day basis with the Chief/Lead Inspector of the Client and supervise, manage, and coordinate with other inspectors. You'll review weekly reports for completeness and provide it to CEC's or our Client's Project Manager and/or Construction Supervisor, provide construction oversight to make sure that the contractor is installing new E&S controls so that they match the E&S plan for the site to ensure agricultural and environmental compliance, per applicable environmental regulations, permit requirements, mitigation agreements, plans, specifications, and commitments. You'll troubleshoot and help to remediate environmental issues in the field, and conduct site inspections, which will include weekly and post rainfall inspections of the site with the assistance of the lead environmental/agricultural inspector(s). The project areas would primarily be throughout OH, and possibly WV. We have full time, part time, and as-needed positions available. Here's What You'll Need:
• 3+ years of erosion and sediment control management experience;
• Associate's Degree, or appropriate experience;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to work long hours outdoors under various field conditions;
• Valid Driver's License.
Here's What We'd Like To See:
• BA/BS Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science/Geology, Biological/Natural Resources, or equivalent.
